The Alfa's motor mount looks... fine

I’m still going to replace it, but the passenger side mount (the hard one) looks fine. Not good, but given the driver’s side one basically came out in two pieces, I expected this one to be trash.

(Yes, I finally got restarted on this job.  I had to make an unexpected trip.)

I guess I’ll also check the torque on the other one because SOMETHING is causing the motor to go clunk and I need to know what...

I’ve got a M ilano that I’ve replaced all the transaxle and motor mounts on this year (all were worse than this one) and still haven’t eliminated all the clunks. Ugh. Good luck!

That old one does look fine. Mostly looks like paint flaking off the rubber, no major cracks , etc. Might be worth sticking on the shelf in case of emergency need-of-spare.

Agree, but I have so many things “just in case” I’ve learned to start throwing stuff out. Plus there are two Alfa parts hoarders in town that I can always hit up as needed.
